Verified ReviewerDisneyland broke my Great Granddaughters heart
I have been going to Disneyland since I was a child. I am now 70 years old.
Our family has made it a practice to take our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren to Disneyland when turned 5 old. It was very important for great granddaughter to meet and hug Minnie Mouse. That is all she wanted to do. We spent all day there only able to ride two rides and running into Minnie Mouse twice only to have Minnie completely ignore my great granddaughter and run away from her as my great granddaughter was trying to hug her, practically knocking her down.
This was the rudess Minnie Mouse ever. I am very disappointed in what Disneyland has become. It is to expensive, no longer cares about the children who get their hearts broken by these characters. My Great granddaughter began to cry and was so disappointed because she couldn't understand why Minnie Mouse treated her so badly.
The lines are too long, the price is too high and heartbreak is not worth it. Dissatisfied, Betty Buonamici bettybuonamici@***.com

Verified Reviewer |Season pass holder 10+ years horrible experience 2024
Everything and all aspects of Disneyland is horrible now. The workers are horrible not all but most are not the workers they used to be.
They are rude and the app and genie program a joke what a waste of phone space and time. As a season pass holder most of my life Ive watched Disney go down hill every year. And the lines omg crowded unlike Ive ever seen it! At the end of two horrible days family member from Brazil leaves her wallet in cars store so we go to store to recover well within an hour it goes from there to 3 or 4 other places before it gets to lost and found (talk about giving opportunity for foul play the wallet switched hands multiple times within the first hour it was lost.
The only help was Brian in cars land. So after following the disastrous Ridiculous untimely discourteous unproductive lost and found protocol. Oh yea and if you dont have the disney App good luck getting your items back in an easy timely manner. The cast is rude and they have never been that way.
After all the years off being a season pass holder I can officially say Disneyland is now the crappiest place on earth.
If its up to me I would never go there again! And I used to love Disneyland but its not what it once was not even close.

Disappointed in overall park aesthetics, absurd prices
My family of 5 ( 4 adults 1 child) cost nearly $800.00 just to get into the park
We went during Christmas (12/14/23) thinking wed be wowed by beautiful Holliday flowers & lights.
We were sadly disappointed!!! The only areas that were decorated were Main Street.
Its a Small World had its lights & Sleeping Beautys castle. Thats it! No Christmas flowers anywhere !!! No Poinsettias, or flower beds filled with red & white flowers, no hanging baskets brimming with holiday cheer!!
Most areas were barren with only dirt & leaves. The park in general seemed unkept.
Debris in the garden beds, untrimmed bushes. DEFINITELY NOT THE WELL KEPT STANDARD OF THE DISNEYLAND WE HAVE
KNOWN!!!
For the price they charge Disneyland needs to step up!!!
We wont be returning to find Holiday cheer at Disneyland.
VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
User's recommendation: Find another place to go!!

Verified Reviewer |Cast Member/Ride Manager Behavior
I have been to Disney Land several times Im my life and recently took my family on 7 December 2023. I rode on the big thunder mountain at 5PM and the ride manager and one of the cast members were completely rude to me with regards to asking a question about the length of time stuck on the ride after it broke down for over an hour.
They also called security on me for sticking up for everyone stuck on the ride because I questioned their incompetent behavior towards paying guests, which they found that I did no wrong in the first place.
I told them that I was done with the conversation and they proceeded to continue harassing me and my family. I will not be going back!!

My wife and I have had passes for a few years , this year I have been in and out of the hospital and still trying to figure out whats wrong. Dues to the stress we have been planning a couple getaways to Disneyland with family and friends
To try and relax a little .
We went to renew and noticed we no longer had the option !
I would like to discuss how we can renew our passes .
Despite the trying times we would like to
Renew our passes so we can visit more in the next months to come .

Verified Reviewer |Downtown Disney parking.
Went to Downtown Disney for 2 hours. Downtown Disney parking used to be 3 hours free and longer if you validate from a restaurant.
Now its $10 for the first hour and additional 2 hours can be free if you purchase merchandise of more that $20 otherwise is $14 additional hours.
I purchased more than $20 and paid via the Disney app - so I didnt pay at the register.
When exiting, the parking was $24.
I tried to dispute but they kept telling me that there are signs around every register the validate if you make purchases.
Being that I did not pay at the register, I could not see these signs.
All I wanted was a refund of $14.
Communications for the parking can only be done via email - the phone number on the ticket is just a recording to tell you to email them. I emailed all receipts that I met the criteria for the additional free parking but the email responses were there are signs posted by the registers to validate tickets, no refund
I called the main customer service line and they couldnt help because parking is a different division and the only way to get a hold of them is via email.
Its ridiculous that there is no way to call them and how easy it is for them to hide behind a keyboard and just keep repeating that there are signs posted so no refund.
- Kids like it
- Hard to get through to staff
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Complaints will not produce refunds at the Happiest Place On Earth

Verified Reviewer |Absolutely horrible customer service
I was at Disneyland Monday October 2nd.
It was an awful experience. Characters made my 4 year old niece cry when they looked at her put there hand up and ignored her.
You try to ask for help from an employee and they give you attitude.
And won't help you.
They treated my dad who was disabled and handicap like he was in the way.
And don't forget the popcorn stand outside the pirates of the Caribbean ride that had to guys working it at.
I walk up to the stand I as for cotton candy and they just stare at me with no response. I ask 3 more times. Both just stare no response. I say do you speak words.
And I look at my sister and niece who just want cotton candy. And still not response to me. They look over at her and laugh! How dare you allow people to be treated like that!
Oh and you might as well skip the autograph book for the kids.
Half of them refused to sign anyways. Skip Disneyland. Go to California adventures. And drive to Knottsberry farms and Universal.
The kids will get to ride rides more. And you won't be treated like garbage
- You can say you went to disneyland
- Customer service was awful
- You spend most of the day waiting it long lines
- Stinks from bad water
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Skip Disneyland its 90% waiting in lines anyways go to California adventures though
